Ketchup, mustard, relish: classic hot dog toppings, right? Well yes, but there are so many more ways to top your perfectly grilled hot dog.
For National Hot Dog Month, we thought you might like to get creative and try a less than traditional way to top your dog off.
The Chicago Dog
Yellow mustard, sweet green pickle relish, onion, tomato wedges, dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt.
French Onion Dog
Caramelized onions and Gruyère cheese. Let the cheese melt over indirect heat on the grill, then added a sprinkle of fresh thyme.
Baked Bean Dog
Baked Beans topped with a few diced onions.
The Tiki Dog
First, wrap the hot dog in bacon and grill. Top with diced grilled pineapple, chopped red onion, and a light drizzle of teriyaki sauce.
Banh Mi Dog
Pickled cucumbers and carrot slices, chopped mint, chopped cilantro and and Siracha mayo (Siracha Chili Sauce mixed with Helmans)
