How do I receive the food?

We offer four options, pick up, drop off, drop off with set-up and on site-staffed service.

Do all food items go out hot?
Certain items are delivered hot and ready to serve. However, to avoid overcooking, and since some items taste best when heated just before serving, you may need to heat select items to serving temperature. In this case, we provide you with a warming rack, warming units and matches so you can easily and quickly heat the item.
What does tableware include?
Disposable plastic knives, forks, plates, napkins, and matches (for the warming units).
How much are servers?
Servers rates vary based on quantity of guest and food selection.
Do you provide bar service and can I provide my own liquor?
We have a variety of bar packages for any size event and bartenders to service your event. Our bartenders can serve liquor you provide for a small corkage and license fee. Some event venues allow customers to provide their own liquor while other may not, please check with your venues to ensure their rules.
How do I place an order?
Call us or fill out the contact us form! One of our planning professionals will walk you through every detail to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
What's the minimum number of people you serve?
Box lunches, party packs and individual meals are a minimum of 10. For most buffets, 20 guests is our minimum, however our best prices start at 30 guests with some exceptions.
Can I order a la carte?
Yes! Any item can be ordered individually if the quantity meets our minimum requirements.
How can I reserve a date?
Please contact us and one of our event coordinators will put together a proposal. After any necessary changes, return the signed contract and a 50% deposit will reserve the date and ensure current pricing .
Is a deposit always required?
All orders require a 50% deposit. Events such as picnics and weddings that require rentals or staff have additional considerations and policies, contact us for details. We accept cash, corporate checks, money orders, certified checks, Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover®. Sorry, personal checks are not accepted.
How much advance notice is required for an order?
For most catering events, 72 hours is sufficient advance notice. For large events or special menus and rentals (such as picnics and weddings), we may require additional time. Please contact us to learn more.
Do prices include set-up?
To keep your cost low we do not include set-up in our charges. You pay only for the services you need. Set-ups are available and are priced according to the number of guests.
What additional charges can I expect?
Beyond the cost of the food, Addison, IL sales tax of 8.0% is added to all orders. In addition, delivery is extra depending on the number of guests and location of the event.
Where is Corky's located?
We are located in the town of Addison, Illinois. Addison is in the western suburbs of Chicago, southwest of O’Hare Airport. Our address is 1421 Fullerton Ave., Addison, Illinois 60101.
Do you deliver and where do you deliver to?
Yes, we deliver to the entire Chicagoland area. Our delivery zone is from the Wisconsin border to the Indiana border to the Fox River Valley. If you are unsure if you reside within this area please call us.

After the party, what do I do with the food containers?
Everything we send you is disposable, so you can dispose or recycle the containers.
How is the food packaged for delivery?
Our food comes hot out of the oven and directly into our packaging which includes heat seal bag, additional layers of foil wrapping and sealed in a thick corrugated box that will keep food hot for hours if left closed.
Are themed menus buffet or individually packaged?
Our themed menus come buffet style, if you are looking for a single portioned menu we have a dedicated section of menus to offer.
Can I place an order through email?
While we can start the quote process via email, when the confirmation process begins a single phone call is required to review your final proposal.
What are the holidays Fees?
Yes there are holiday fees, contact us so one of our planning professionals can help you.
